Rates
$175 per 60-minute session, paid at the end of each session by check, cash or credit/debit card. If you prefer a longer, 75 minute session (arranged in advance), the charge for this is $220 per session. 75 minute sessions are often advised (though not required) for couples.

Rates for Discernment counseling (for couples on the brink of divorce; see description under "Common Questions") are as follows:

Session one (2 hours): $350

Sessions 2-5 (1.5 hours): $265 I will make every effort to keep these sessions to 1.5 hours, however, they may run as long as 2 hours in some cases. If this is the case, the $350 rate will be charged.

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
• What is the coverage for an out-of-network provider?

I do not bill insurance companies, but will provide you, upon request, with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Payment
Cash, check, credit/debit cards (Visa, M/C, Amex, Discover), most health savings cards.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
